The ET19 is a 12mm plywood-core walk-in kiosk measuring 2000mm wide, 1500mm deep and 2000mm high, with full-height lockable double doors and an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard as standard. It shares the footprint of the single-skin ET15 but is built as a rigid composite panel, with room for equipment on more than one wall and a clear working aisle.
What does the 12mm plywood core add?
The GRP skins are bonded over a 12mm plywood core to form a stiff sandwich wall with far higher bending and compression resistance than single skin. Heavy switchgear and panels can be fixed across the walls into a solid timber core rather than only on the backboard, and the composite build is more impact-resistant, better insulated and more secure.
What is the ET19 used for?
The ET19 makes a robust compact switchroom or packaged-substation housing — MV/LV switchgear, distribution and control arranged around an internal walkway, with full standing access to maintain them — on sites where the fit-out is heavy or the specification demands a composite-panel shell rather than single skin.
How is the ET19 delivered and secured?
It is supplied as a single unit, so forklift or Hiab off-loading is required. The double doors take a choice of locking with stainless steel fixings and a weather seal, and the interior is finished with a fire-retardant resin. GRP is non-conductive and non-corroding throughout.
Is the ET19 built to last outdoors?
Yes — GRP doesn’t corrode, rot or degrade in UV, so the ET19 serves for decades on exposed substation and utility sites with minimal upkeep, and has no scrap value to tempt thieves.
What colours does the ET19 come in?
