The ET13 is the most compact unit in our single-skin GRP walk-in range, measuring 2000mm wide, 500mm deep and 2000mm high, with full-height lockable double doors across the 2m width and an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard fitted as standard. The shallow 500mm depth gives full standing access to a single plane of equipment without the footprint of a true room.
What is the ET13 walk-in used for?
The ET13 suits a full-height line of switchgear, metering, distribution or control gear mounted along one wall — roadside, substation and utility sites that need walk-up access and weatherproof protection but only a shallow footprint. It works well as a metering or feeder kiosk where space is tight but the equipment runs floor to ceiling.
How is the ET13 built?
Single-skin GRP construction keeps the ET13 light to deliver and install while staying fully weatherproof, non-conductive and non-corroding, with a fire-retardant resin internal finish. How is the ET13 delivered and secured?
It ships as a single unit, so forklift or Hiab off-loading is needed on site. The double doors take a choice of locking with stainless steel fixings and a weather seal, securing the contents on unmanned sites.
Is the ET13 built to last outdoors?
Yes — GRP doesn’t corrode, rot or break down in sunlight, so the ET13 is built for decades of service on exposed utility compounds with minimal upkeep, and has no scrap value to tempt metal thieves.
What colours does the ET13 come in?
