The ET18 is a 12mm plywood-core walk-in kiosk measuring 2000mm wide, 1000mm deep and 2000mm high, with full-height lockable double doors and an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard as standard. It matches the metre-deep footprint of the single-skin ET14 but is built as a rigid composite panel.
What does the 12mm plywood core add?
Bonding the GRP skins over a 12mm plywood core produces a stiff sandwich wall with much greater bending and compression strength than single skin. That means heavy plant can be fixed across the walls — not just to the backboard — into a solid timber core, in an enclosure that is also more impact-resistant, better insulated and more secure.
What is the ET18 used for?
With a metre of working depth and a robust composite shell, the ET18 makes a hard-wearing plant room or control kiosk for pumping, treatment and process control, generator and distribution equipment, and any heavy internal fit-out on demanding utility or industrial sites — full standing access with room to work in front of the plant.
How is the ET18 delivered and secured?
It is supplied as a single unit, so forklift or Hiab off-loading is required. The double doors take a choice of locking with stainless steel fixings and a weather seal, and the interior is finished with a fire-retardant resin. GRP is non-conductive and non-corroding throughout.
Is the ET18 built to last outdoors?
Yes — glass-reinforced polyester won’t corrode, rot or break down in UV, so the ET18 gives decades of low-maintenance service outdoors, with no scrap value to attract theft.
What colours does the ET18 come in?
