More about the ET20 plywood-core walk-in kiosk:

The ET20 is the largest unit in our plywood-core walk-in range — a full 2000mm x 2000mm x 2000mm cube, with full-height lockable double doors and an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard as standard. It matches the footprint of the single-skin ET16 but is built as a rigid composite panel, making it effectively a robust small GRP building.

What does the 12mm plywood core add?

The GRP skins are bonded over a 12mm plywood core to create a stiff sandwich wall with far greater bending and compression strength than single skin. For a building this size that means heavy plant can be fixed across the walls into a solid timber core, with a more impact-resistant, better-insulated and more secure shell — valuable where the internal fit-out is substantial or the site is higher-spec.

What is the ET20 used for?

The ET20 works as a packaged plant room, control room or equipment building for the most demanding installations — multiple switchgear and distribution panels, generator and genset housings, packaged pumping or treatment plant, and process control — with both the floor space to lay it out and the wall strength to mount it securely.

How is the ET20 delivered and secured?

It is supplied as a single unit, so forklift or Hiab off-loading is required and crane-arm vehicle access should be confirmed. The double doors take a choice of locking with stainless steel fixings and a weather seal, and the interior is finished with a fire-retardant resin. GRP is non-conductive and non-corroding throughout.

Is the ET20 built to last outdoors?

Yes — glass-reinforced polyester won’t corrode, rot or break down in UV, so the ET20 gives decades of low-maintenance service outdoors, with no scrap value to attract theft.

What colours does the ET20 come in?

Green (BS 14-C-39) or grey as standard — British Standard references, not RAL — with any custom colour to a BS or RAL reference on request. See our guides to British Standard colours and RAL colours.

Does the ET20 come in other sizes?

The ET20 is 2000x2000x2000mm. See the shallower ET19 or the single-skin ET16, and the full walk-in range. To go bigger or fully bespoke, see our very large & bespoke enclosures.
