The VR15 is a large walk-in GRP cabinet measuring 2000mm wide, 1500mm deep and 2000mm high, giving roughly 1850mm x 1350mm of internal floor space — a proper walk-in room for plant and an engineer to work in. Wide 1750mm x 1750mm double doors give full access, with an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard fitted as standard over an insulating ply-core GRP wall.
What is the VR15 walk-in used for?
The generous floor area suits switchrooms and package substations, gas governor and pressure-reduction buildings, and water treatment, dosing or booster plant that needs space around it. The empty cabinet is fitted out to suit the duty.
How secure and weatherproof is it?
The double doors have four stainless steel hinges, two shoot bolts, a Yale-type lock and a compression seal as standard. Non-conductive, non-corrosive GRP keeps the installation safe and maintenance-light on exposed sites.
Is there a ready-wired version?
Yes — the VR15-E electrical walk-in arrives with power, lighting and frost heating pre-installed.
What colours does the VR15 come in?
