The ET15 is a single-skin GRP walk-in enclosure measuring 2000mm wide, 1500mm deep and 2000mm high, with full-height lockable double doors and an 18mm surface-treated ply backboard as standard. At a metre and a half deep there is room for equipment on more than one wall with a clear working aisle between.
What is the ET15 walk-in used for?
The ET15 makes a compact switchroom or packaged-substation housing — space for MV/LV switchgear, distribution and control panels arranged around an internal walkway, with full standing access to maintain them. It also suits larger pumping, treatment and process-control installations that have outgrown a shallow kiosk but don’t need a full plant-room footprint.
How is the ET15 built?
Single-skin GRP keeps weight and cost down while remaining weatherproof, non-conductive and non-corroding, with a fire-retardant resin internal finish. For a more rigid wall that takes heavy fixings anywhere across its face, the plywood-core ET19 shares this footprint.
How is the ET15 delivered and secured?
It is supplied as a single unit, so forklift or Hiab off-loading is required. The double doors take a choice of locking with stainless steel fixings and a weather seal.
Is the ET15 built to last outdoors?
Yes — GRP doesn’t corrode, rot or degrade in sunlight, so the ET15 serves for decades on exposed substation and utility sites with minimal upkeep, and has no scrap value to tempt thieves.
What colours does the ET15 come in?
