The VR10 is a large double door floor-standing GRP enclosure measuring 1710mm wide, 800mm deep and 1610mm high, with a wide 1460mm x 1380mm door opening and a 1530mm x 1220mm 18mm ply backboard fitted as standard — close to walk-in capacity in a fixed enclosure.
What is the VR10 enclosure used for?
The VR10 is well suited to package-substation and switchgear housings, large electrical distribution and metering, and major water booster and pumping control sets. Non-conductive GRP keeps the installation safe in public areas and needs no earthing or corrosion protection.
How secure is the VR10?
Four stainless steel hinges, two shoot bolts, a Yale-type lock and a compression seal come as standard on the twin doors.
How is the VR10 fixed down?
The enclosure is designed to be bolted to a prepared concrete base; a recommended base-fixing detail is provided on the spec drawing.
What colours does the VR10 come in?
